Moving from Engineering to Design
I am a 25 years old guy that studied Product Design Engineering in Barcelona, my hometown. Even though the technical development of products
is something I am really interested in, lately I have been refocusing my work and education into the design process: the creative part
rather than the technical one.
I completed my Engineering education in 2005 and after two years working as a junior R+D Engineer for Altran I saved money enough to move to another place
and continue studying. After leaving my job, I moved to Umeå, and that's the place where I am currently studying and living. I am enrolled in
the Introduction to Industrial Design course at the Umeå Institute of Design and I am willing to continue my "trip" with a MA degree in the field
of interaction.
If you want to have a look at my education and work experience, this is my cv.
